first time exchange letter

Very excited for this exchange! Sorry for the rushed sign up, summer is doing me in.

General Notes:

General likes: snark/banter, soulmates, fairy tales, angst that gets better, pining, badass couples, competence kink, happy endings of all sorts
AUs: I'm happy with the canon universes for my requests, but I also like aus, feel free to go whichever direction the muse takes you!
General kink likes: dirty talk, size kink, any variations on multiple penetration and/or object insertion, same for sex pollen or fuck or die scenarios (as long as it results in confirmed feelings), monsters, piercings, power dynamics, orgasm control, breast/pussy impact play, exhibitionism/public play
Kink DNWs: My only kink limits are the opt-in type: mutilation, vore, waste play, etc. I haven't opted in to non-con for any of my requests, but consent play is welcome. I'm not interested in full-time dom/sub lifestyles (I really like ships that are constantly pushing each other), but v into those dynamics in scenes/encounters. Minor DNW that while blowjobs are cool as part of a fic/scene, I prefer that not be the entirety.
Queer stuff: Most of my fics and requests fall in the m/f category, but I don't personally hc any of them as straight/cishet. Queer content is welcome, I just prefer reading about central relationships including a F-identifying character.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy (Reylo, both/either virgins):
Probably obvious from the tags, but I love these two in any universe. There's some dub con tags (a/b/o, sex pollen), and I really enjoy those dynamics, but I'd still prefer those to end up with them recognizing each other's feelings/in a relationship. Regular fluff or canon-typical angst are good too!
Also in the tags, but I can very much see either of them being a virgin in their relationship, canon or au. They both come with some deep-set trust and intimacy issues and from situations where vulnerability was a danger. I think the big difference would be how much that mattered to them, I can see either of their virginity mattering more to Ben, with his more "civilized" background, as opposed to Rey, for whom it would be more a new experience. (imo, at least, feel free to do what you want!)
For the characters themselves, I love slightly feral and angry and quick on her feet Rey, who still retains a lot of compassion. (Rey Skywalker is a lazy marketing scheme; Rey nobody is my favorite, but Rey Palpatine or Kenobi are alright.) For Ben, I'm very much into this culmination of the Skywalker legacy fighting against all the forces in the galaxy, still falling into those same traps, and then Rey coming in like a wrecking ball to break him out of that. (Please no Han/Leia bashing.) I like that Rey and Ben are both competent and dangerous but soft for each other (even when they don't understand that).
This isn't specific to these two, but I just want them to end up happy together, against all odds.
Shadow and Bone (TV) (Darklina, virgin Alina):
In a better world, they were endgame. My philosophy towards this canon is scraping it for good parts, which includes this ancient being being very jaded to the world and unused to true personal intimacy finding a new creature just like him but still so comparatively new to the world and how that dynamic plays out. I am very much 'The Darkling Was Right', because someone needed to actually do something.
I really enjoy the power dynamics in their relationship, which I think shows up in a bunch of the tags I went with. There's Second Army General Aleksander with his centuries of plans to try to raise Grisha up but still reliant on brand new summoner Alina who refuses to fit into any of his expectations. I just think them clashing and still ultimately finding belonging in each other is hot.
I'm also very happy with just a fluffy scenario! AUs are cool too, but I'd prefer some kind of supernatural or other element.
(Character bashing dnw is lightly waived for this one, for anyone except Genya. Poor girl has been through enough.)
The Grisha Trilogy - Leigh Bardugo (Darklina, virgin Alina):
Should've included this in the request above, but hindsight, etc. Feel free to use those tags and notes for inspo! or not.
As far as differences between show and book requests, I do really enjoy both versions of the ship. I did like that the show made Alina a little more active vs passive, and I loved JML's performance enough that she's definitely how I envision the character. I'm more flexible with the Darkling, both the softer show version and darker book version are very fun to read.
I also absolutely enjoy both cold and calculating and unhinged book Darkling and how that clashes with him needing Alina and having genuine and unexpected feelings for her. I like them being messy but still always coming back to each other.
